SACRAMENTO- Iletta Mae Pannell, 61, of Sacramento died Friday, June 23, 2023 at her residence. Mrs. Pannell was born July 28, 1961 in Muhlenberg County. She was retired from Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville. Mrs. Pannell loved her pets, puppies, fishing, horseback riding, boating, and hiking. She loved the water and any beach, where she loved to snorkel and find shells. She loved to find and to collect rocks, she was a rockhound. Mrs. Pannell is preceded in death by her parents, David Ray and Nancy Elizabeth Wooten.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Pannell; daughter, Nicole Wengerd; grandson, Gabriel Wengerd.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento with Bro. Jonathan Lail officiating. Burial will follow in Sacramento Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.

I am so sorry for your loss. I graduated from McLean County High in 1978. I remember Iletta very well from school and remember how 'laid back' she always was. No drama ever got to her and she had such a great sense of humor. I didn't keep in touch with her but remember her and cherish the memory of her. God's blessings for strength and comfort during this time.

I graduated with Iletta in McLean County. I'm so very sorry for your loss. She and I were not close in school, but anytime you lose a classmate it hits home at how precious life is and how fleeting. My prayer for your family is that God will wrap His loving arms around you and give you comfort!

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Iletta many years ago at Trover Clinic, and again at the Hospital until she retired. She was a bright light in this world.

She was a Angel on earth put up a hard fight for Nikki Gabe and Paul , I'm so glad Iletta found her true love and soul matte during her last yrs , My Daddy & Momma loved her dearly , She would lite up any room , when I was dx with cancer in 07 my daddy called her to talk to me , she introduced me to Dr Kluger , we hit it right off he love iletta , just as my family did , she will be missed , But never forgotten for her compassion and love for others , I love you girlie give my momma & daddy a kiss and I will see y'all over in glory real soon , you faught a hard fight my friend , I love you ❤️

She was a great mentor to me during my cancer , She put me with the right Dr , My parents thought so much of her , She had a heart of Gold and fault a tuff fight for Nikki & Gab , I'm so Glad she had Paul as my parents was happy for her , I have many great beautiful memories of iltta , she had so many people that loved her , my prayers will be strong for you Nikki , Paul & Gab , I'm knowing she's loving the streets of Gold , It was hard leaving her family , But I promise Jesus will carry each of you , I love you ilitta , thanks for loving my Daddy & Momma & tell them I love them I will see you all again soon , There will never be another fighter like you in Sacramento my friend ,

Such a beautiful Godly woman!! We worked together at the hospital for many years together. Always a smile and kind words, always the same. I am happy for her to be in her heavenly home but very sad for those who loved her. May God comfort you as only He can do
