CENTRAL CITY- Ilene Daugherty, age 86, of Central City died Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Maple Manor Nursing Home in Greenville. Mrs. Daugherty was born in Muhlenberg County on July, 23, 1931. She was a homemaker and long time member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband John Millard Daugherty. She is survived by her sons, Millard Ray(Bonnie Sue)Daugherty of Central City, Jerry Wayne(Julie)Daugherty of Central City and Richard Lee(Karen Jean)Daugherty of Cary NC, daughter, Wilma Ilene(Roy Dean)Jones of South Carrollton, grandchildren, Jamey(Sonya)Daugherty, Chasitie(Mark)Smith, Jonathan(Erin)Daugherty, Jared(Ashley)Daugherty, Megan(Phillip)Nadeau, Allen Daugherty, Anthony(Lindsay)Jones, 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 02, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro Donnie Wilkins officiating and Bro. Jamey Daugherty assisting.
