CENTRAL CITY – Hazel Jaunita Duvall entered into her Heavenly home on November 23, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on October 11, 1936, in Muhlenberg County, she was the daughter of Henry Hazel “Habo” and Gladys Lorene Tatum.
Hazel was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Robert Harlen “Robbie” Duvall. Together, she and Robert created memories that will forever be cherished by those who knew them.
She is survived by her three children: Donna Faye (Eddie) McClure of Owensboro, David Harlen (Lisa) Duvall of Central City, and Barry Wayne (Marinda) Duvall of Greenville. Hazel was the proud grandmother of Chad Edwin McClure, Lindsay Marie Whitten, Benjamin Heltsley (Jennie) Duvall, Jordan David (Monica) Duvall, and Noah Daniel (Hailey) Duvall. She was also a great-grandmother to Reagan Marie Martin, Benjamin Walker Duvall, and Everett Lee Duvall. She is also survived by sisters, Linda Morphew and Patricia Jernigan as well as several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. A private graveside service for the immediate family will take place at New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery after the visitation, where she was a longtime member.
