ALABAMA – Gladys M. Fletcher, 87, of Alabama, died Saturday, August 17, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Fletcher was born March 27, 1932, in Muhlenberg County, to Pearl Roark Rolley and Ora Rolley. She considered her family her greatest accomplishment. Gladys married the love of her life, Perry Fletcher, and together they raised one son, Tom (Deborah) Fletcher; and two daughters, Debra (Larry) Mote and Kittie (Bobby) Dye. She had five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Most importantly she loved Jesus and wanted everyone to know how He had blessed her. Mrs. Fletcher is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her sister, Vada Matheney. She will be missed by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. Graveside funeral services will be Friday, August 23, 2019, at 12:00 noon at Unity Cemetery. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
