Bro. Estle Warren Greenwalt (E.W.), 83, was called home to the Lord on Friday, December 27, 2024. E.W. was born to J.W. and Thelma Greenwalt on May 7, 1941, in Mclean County, KY. He graduated from Livermore High School and attended college at Campbellsville and KY Wesleyan. He began his ministry at Old Panther Creek Baptist Church in Hancock County, KY. E.W. pastored churches in Western KY and Middle, TN. He served as pastor in Muhlenberg County for over 30 years at Temple Baptist, Woodland Baptist, and was serving as pastor of New Prospect upon his death. He loved the Lord and loved to preach His Word. E. W. was preceded to heaven by his parents J.W. and Thelma Greenwalt, and two sisters Nelda Griffith and Greta Yonts. He was a deeply loved husband, father, grandaddy, brother and friend. As we have lost a branch from our tree, so many have lost a friend and extraordinary mentor. He was a steady oak for us all.
