OWENSBORO – Ellen Sue Oglesby, 71, of Owensboro, died November 14, 2022, at 7:20AM at Signature Healthcare of Hartford. Ms. Oglesby was born June 28, 1951 in Muhlenberg County. She was a Medical Records Coder for Regional Medical Center in Madisonville and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her two granddaughters. Every other Thursday when Ellen was paid, she would take Hannah and Emma to Walmart and Cracker Barrel for lunch where precious memories were made. She loved to dance and had a beautiful voice. Quiet, comforting and kind defined Ellen. She was preceded in death by her dad, Thilbern B. Wilcox, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Lindsay (Parvin) Phillips; son, Jesse Dallas Oglesby; grandchildren, Hannah Grace Livingston, and Emma Claire Livingston; mother, Jimmie Dee Wilcox; and sister, Dee Ann (Darrel) Neal.

Funeral services will be Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Parvin Phillips officiating. Burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
