MADISONVILLE – Ella “Lois” Ward Farris, 65, of Madisonville, died Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 5:22AM at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Lois was born March 23, 1959 in Greenville to her parents, Glen and Gladys Ward.  She retired from Wal-Mart in Hanson, KY after 34 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Randall Ward; niece, Elizabeth Ward; great-nephew, Jacob McKenney; and brother-in-law, Larry Browning.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Farris of 20 years; one brother, Kenneth (Karen) Ward of Powderly, KY; three sisters, Linda (Jerry) Humphry of Greenville, KY, Glenda Browning of Topeka, KS, and Donna (Ronnie) Grace of Greenville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 10, 2025 at 1 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Curtis McGehee officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10AM-1PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
