This really saddens me. The first time Ray Ryan took me to their hunt camp I met Ed. Ed took me, I was pretty green, out on the property to show me where and how to hunt deer. I hadn't been deer hunting since I was a boy. As you can imagine, on that first trip into the woods Ed comely stopped his 4x4 raised his rifle from his lap and shot a deer. I've always felt lucky to know him and be able to draw from the knowledge and experiences of the outdoors. He was a kind man and one who was always willing to help and share what he knew.
