GREENVILLE – Dianne Garrett Grace, age 72, of Greenville died, Friday, Jun 2, 2023 at Madisonville Health and Rehabilitation.  Dianne was born September 13, 1950 in Muhlenberg County. She was a Rank I retired Longest Elementary 4th Grade Teacher.  After retiring from the classroom, she enjoyed spending time with individual students to improved their writing skills.  She was a long-time member of the Greenville Church of Christ and of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International Alpha Iota Chapter of Kentucky. Ms. Grace enjoyed shopping, UK Basketball, cooking for people and hanging out with her teacher friends.   She was preceded in death by her parents Freeman and Eula Mae Garrett; brother, Raleigh Garrett and sister, Betty Haddock.

She is survived by her husband James “Dewey” Grace of Greenville; son, Jason (Anna) Grace of Covington, IN; grandchildren Jordan Grace, Mason Grace; sister, Peggy (Charlie) Hooks of Hendersonville, TN and many nieces and nephews she loved spoiling.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, KY with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.  Mr. Johnny Kelton will officiate the services.  Visitation will be Wednesday beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com
