I was with David in Vietnam and the 2009 Reunion in Washington.I am sadden of his passing and offer my condolences to the family. I found out about his passing from Jerry White. May God be with you and offer you confort.
David carried the M-60 machine-gun in 3rd platoon, Delta Company, 6/31st, 9th Infantry Division, Vietnam 1968-69. I was his Platoon Sergeant in 1969. No one was better with the "60", nor was there a braver or more honorable soldier than David. I last saw David at our 2009 3rd platoon reunion in D.C. when we met at the Vietnam Wall to honor our lost 3rd platoon Brothers. David will be sorely missed by all of his 3rd platoon Brothers...we'll see you on the other side my Brother.
SORRY FOR YOUR LOST KEEPING YOUR FAMILY IN PRAYER
I've known David about as long as I could walk. We fought and played and walked to school up College Street to the first grade. (1951?) I was happy to see him a few years ago at our 50th reunion. He was a fine man. I am sorry for your loss.
My love and Aloha you you and your family... I'm just a phone call away!!! Love you all!!!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

SO SORRY TO HEAR OF THE DEATH OF DAVID MORRIS. REALLT ENJOYED HIS FRIENDSHIP THROUGH THE YEARS. WE GREW UP AS NEIGHBORS AND PLAYED A LOT OF BALL TOGETHER. LIFE IS JUST TOO SHORT. HE WILL BE MISSED BY MANY FRIENDS AND CLASSMATES. REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great memories.....Believe me I was no great athlete by any stretch of imagination, but one of the things I remember from playing high school baseball at Greenville H.S. was a member of our team who certainly was a good player. Not only was David a great catcher but more of a great individual person. I remember a smile from him whether we won or lost the game. He made me feel as welcomed a part of our class or team as anyone when I returned to Greenville my last 3 years of High School. He treated everyone that cordial way. You will certainly be missed my friend.
God Bless to all David's family. An "old friend", Gene Todd .
My love and prayers to all our Morris family but especially to you Ondria, Chris and Sarah. I love you my sweet cousins.
I love you and will miss you forever! Rest in peace.
Hey brother I miss you already. Our memories are etched in my mind. We had a lot of them thru the years. Love Yo2YU2Bu Brother!
I am so sorry to receive this bad news. David was just like my big brother as I grew up in Greenville. I will always remember his great personality and happy smile. He will be missed dearly.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss.
