It was an honor getting to know you, you’ve been a friend, a father and confidante in the last 16 years. I know for certain that I would not be the man I am today without your guidance. Your sense of humor and smile were contagious, your ability to not sweat the small things and live in the moment was something I’ll be envious of until the day I pass away, and we get the chance to meet again. I have so many fond memories of you that I wouldn’t even know where to start, so I won’t. I believe that right now you’re sitting with your parents, and the others who went before you catching up, and looking forward to an eternity with no pain, and in the blink of an eye, we will all be right there with you. just know that your spirit for adventure and love of life will be the one thing I hope to instill in my kids in honor of you. We miss you and love you, and just incase there’s deer hunting in heaven, save some for the rest of us.
