GREENVILLE- Danny Alan Evitts, Sr., 63, of Greenville died, December 19, 2019 at The Heartford House in Owensboro. Mr. Evitts was born on March 23, 1956 in Muhlenberg County. He was a machine operator for Ahlstrom until his retirement and a member of Duvall’s Chapel General Baptist Church. Mr. Evitts loved his family, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting for Indian arrowheads and outdoor activities. Mr. Evitts is preceded in death by his father, Donald Evitts. Survivors include his wife, Margie McLevain Evitts; sons, Danny Alan (Jessica) Evitts, Jr. of Greenville, Joshua (Jena) Evitts of Bremen; daughters, Rachel Evitts of Greenville, Rebekah (Richard) Putman of Greenville; grandchildren, Daniel (Denise), Dillan, Dustin, Devin, David, Addison, Josie, Khloe; great grandchild, Dalton; brothers, Mike Evitts, Kevin (Sonya) Evitts, Scotty (Naomi) Evitts; mother, Barbara Evitts; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Leroy Rearden officiating. Burial will be in Nebo Cemetery in Greenville.
