Connie Faye Swank Welborn

CENTRAL CITY – Connie Faye Swank Welborn, 65, of Central City, died Sunday, August 14, 2022, at 7:25AM at her home. Mrs. Welborn was born February 26, 1957, in Owensboro. She was an accountant for Micky McPherson, CPA, and a member of Temple Baptist Church. Mrs. Welborn was very loyal to all of her family, and was the glue that held everyone together. She loved family gatherings and enjoyed cooking. She loved her husband of 44 years, and she was a great mom and grandmother. She had a way of making everyone around her laugh. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Colleen Swank; sisters, Charlotte Mosley, Shirley Bullington, and Brenda Wilkins; and brother, George Swank.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Irvin Welborn; daughters, Jennifer Welborn and Krystal Johnson; grandchildren, Connor Woodard and Olivia Snodgrass; sisters, Barbara Swank and Deborah Daugherty; and twin brother, Donnie Swank.

Connie, you was a blessing in my life. I hope I told you how grateful I am to be blessed with you as my 2nd mom. Your kindness, and love will always be a part of us. Thank you for the love you and my father shared. Many years ago when you and dad got together. You and your family loved me and opened their hearts and home to me when I was a little girl. Your cooking brought many wanting seconds, and lots of laughter. Your words of wisdom was always short, and to the point. Yet encouraging to never give up on yourself or the ones you love. You are missed so much,Put special angels around dad. Olivia, and Connor a piece of you will carry on through them. Jennifer. Is being so strong yet her heart aches. I seen your sisters and the sadness in their eyes. Yet when they laughed I could hear your laughter as well. You are missed and loved by us all. This is not goodbye, we will be reunited, in Heaven. Sierra, Jade, Kerstin and Ryder misses and loves you as well. Connie watch over us. Love you!!!
