DRAKESBORO – Cleveland Hocker, 79, of Drakesboro, died Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 9:02PM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mr. Hocker was born April 25, 1942, in Muhlenberg County. He worked for the City of Greenville Street Department, and was a member of Drakesboro Church of Christ. He enjoyed mowing grass, going to church, and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Illie Hocker; sister, Hilda Whitaker; brothers, Morris Hocker, Forest Hocker, and Horris Ray Hocker; and son-in-law, Sammy Noffsinger.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie Smith Hocker; children, Carolyn Noffsinger, Eddie (Priscilla) Drake, Diane Latham, David Drake, and Larry Ferguson, Jr.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Kirby Duncan officiating. Burial in Wilcox Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
