SACRAMENTO – Chloe Belle Rust, 79, of Sacramento, died Monday, October 24, 2016, at 10:23AM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mrs. Rust was born February 17, 1937, in McLean County. She was retired from Rust Upholstery, and was a member of Sacramento United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Rust; great-granddaughters Taylor and Bailey Dant; sister Emojean Lofton; and brother Melvin Ellis. She is survived by her daughters, Sherral Bland of Calhoun, Peggy Dant of Sacramento, and Margaret Hicks of Owensboro; step-son Eric Rust of Sacramento; step-daughter Debbie (Mike) Thaxton of Sacramento; grandchildren Jeremy Payton, Darrell Payton, Elijah Hicks, Zack (Amy) Dant, Nick (Summer) Dant, her girl Ashley Dant, Justin (Christina) Rust, Kristen Rust, and Shawn Rust.; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers John Roy Ellis, Orville (Nancy) Ellis, and Narville (Gay) Ellis; and sisters Margaret (Mike) Dant and Marie Head. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 27, 2016, at 1:00PM at Sacramento United Methodist Church, with Bro. Mike Deaton officiating. Burial in Poplar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-8PM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento. Mrs. Rust will lie in state on Thursday after 10:00AM at the church.
