GRAHAM – Charles Wayne Chaney, 70, of Graham, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at 12:50AM at Baptist Health in Madisonville. Mr. Chaney was born August 7, 1946, in Greenville. He was owner of West Ky. Filter Service for 26 years, and he also worked in the coal mines. He attended Second Baptist Church and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He loved his family, especially his granddaughter. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and boating. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles V. and Wilma Pauline Chaney; sister Shelia Sparks; and brother Eddie Chaney. He is survived by his wife, Judy Young Chaney; son Dr. Brian (Megan) Chaney of Greenville; sister Paula (Mike) Harkins of Graham; granddaughter Lillian Chaney; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 3, 2016, at 10:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Bob Thurman officiating, assisted by Rev. J.W. Haire. Burial in Palestine Cemetery in Paden, MS. Visitation will be Friday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. There will also be visitation on Sunday, September 4, 2016, at 1:00PM at Palestine Community Church in Paden, MS.
