Cecil “Tommy” Lile

BREMEN-Cecil Thomas “Tommy” Lile, 69, of Bremen passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Lile was born in Muhlenberg County on August 28, 1950. He was a member of Richardson Chapel General Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for 24 years. He was also a captain with the Bremen Volunteer Fire Department where he served his community for 44 years. He was retired but was previously employed by Quality Oil Company and P&M Coal Company. His passion was spending time with his family, hunting and fishing, and woodworking. He also took special care in maintaining the church building. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Cecil Lile and Florence Lile; brothers, Lonnie Lile and Connie Lile; and sister, Joan Lile. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Marion Lile; son, Matthew (Beth-Ann) Lile; and sisters, Elizabeth Rhoades, Patti (Halbert) Edwards, and Shirley (James) Morris; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Tom Carroll officiating assisted by Matthew Lile.
