BREMEN – Billy Clyde Fagan, age 89, of Bremen, died Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Billy was born February 16, 1935, in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. He was a mechanic for Russell Badgett Coal Company. On May 18, 2024, Billy and Annetta celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary. He didn’t do a lot of talking but always smiled. He loved his Kentucky Wildcats even though he was from South Carolina. He was a hardworking man that loved his Lord and his family. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Madisonville but was recently attending Powers Chapel in Bremen, KY. Mr. Fagan was preceded in death by his parents, Boyce Willie and Anna Sylvester Fagan; sisters, Eloise Bridges and Barbara Anna Morton; brother, Buddy Fagan.
He is survived by his wife Annetta Lou Gregory Fagan; children, Melvin (Pam) Fagan of Owensboro, Cathy (Mike) Piercy of Slaughters, Willis (Teresa) Fagan of Livermore; grandchildren, Adam (Moriah) Fagan, Eric (Charity) Fagan, James Piercy, Chad Piercy, Jessie (Seaera) Piercy and Matthew (Hillary) Fagan; great-grandchildren, Emery Fagan, Rebecca Fagan, Delilah Fagan and Abraham Fagan; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home with Bro. Kerry Vincent officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
