Beechcreek – Billie Joyce McPherson 84, of Beechcreek died Saturday January 11, 2020 at 9:03PM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Ms. McPherson was born in Muhlenberg County on May 5, 1935. She was a lunch room cook at Hughes Kirk High School. She attended Greenbrier General Baptist Church. Ms. McPherson is preceded in death by her husband Thomas McPherson, and brothers Bobby Neal, Richard and Jimmy Pearson. She is survived by her sons, Ricky (Sonja) McPherson, Terry (Angela) McPherson, daughter Vicky (Robin) Wolfe, grandchildren Derrick (Candace) McPherson, Kris (Kelsey) Wolfe, Matthew Wolfe, Gracie McPherson, and Jacob McPherson, great-grandchildren Averi, Ellie, Kohen, Karson, and sister Freda Lovell. Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 14, 2020 at 1:00PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Wright officiating and Bro. Audry Moore assisting. burial will be in Old Jackson Cemetery in Greenville, Visitation will Monday January 13, 2020 at 5:00PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home. When I was growing up on Hazel Creek Road, the McPherson's were my next door neighbor. I remember Mrs. Joyce coming to the house and visiting. Ricky and Vicky were younger than I, but we had some good play times together. The entire family was nice, thoughtful, and lovely to be around. Go rest, Joyce, where your Spirit meets the Master!
