GREENVILLE – Billie King Robertson, 82, of Greenville, died on Saturday May 13, 2023 at Greenville Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on October 2, 1940 at her home in Powderly, KY.

Billie spent many years working for Maple Manor and Muhlenberg County Hospital. She was an active member of Green River Chapel and adored her church family. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling with her sisters, singing, and playing the piano, sitting on the porch watching her hummingbirds, and in recent years, she became an avid Bingo player. Most of all, though, she enjoyed her family and the time they shared. Billie was preceded in death by her late husband, A.W, Robertson; her parents, Elma Eugene “Buck” and Gracie “Mable” Hinton, and her twin sister, Wilma Brake.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheena (Scott) Chumley; her son, Jimmy (Rhen) King; her sister, Linda Oller; her granddaughters, Cassandra Waddell, and Tiffany (Robert) Baxter; her great-grandchildren, Corbin Waddell, Cooper Waddell, Adelyn Baxter, and Joslyn Baxter; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 12:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Jewel Martin officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00-8:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
