CENTRAL CITY – Beverly Jean Campbell, 70, of Central City, died Saturday, October 24, 2020, at 4:17PM at her home. Mrs. Campbell was born December 13, 1949, in Muhlenberg County. She was a member of Cherry Hill Baptist Church. She was a retired school teacher with the Muhlenberg County Board of Education, teaching for 33 years. She taught Special Education for 32 years. She loved to read romance novels and watch classic TV shows, including Gunsmoke. She graduated from Murray State University, and received her Masters from the University of Louisville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Campbell; and father Lemuel Stirsman. She is survived by her son, Michael (Rhetta) Campbell of Evansville, IN; daughter Cathy (Kevin) Cessna of Greenville; grandchildren Trevor, Ryelynn, Reign, and Layne; brother Jack (Edith) Stirsman; sister Debbie (Roger) Markwell; mother Helen Stirsman; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at 11:00AM at Cherry Hill Cemetery, with Bro. Leroy Rearden officiating. Burial to follow.
