BREMEN – Betty Lou Shanks, 80 of Bremen, died Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 9:17AM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Mrs. Shanks was born May 28, 1942 in Muhlenberg County. She was a member of Powderly Holiness Church. She loved Jesus, her church, and her family. All these put a smile on her face. One of her favorite pastimes was cooking and sampling the sweets that she made. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Lisa Vincent, and Angie Hornsby; husband, Robert Will Shanks; mother, Lorene Gregory; and brother, Billy Gregory.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kathy (Gary) Conder, and Jennifer (Harry) Hoeft; one son, Robbie (Katrina) Shanks; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces, and nephews; and brother, Jerry Little.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Jerry Whitehouse officiating. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday at 11:00AM-1:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
