POWDERLY- Betty Ann Arndell, 85, of Greenville died Friday, July 28, 2017 at West Meade Place in Nashville. Ms. Arndell was born in Muhlenberg County on January 5, 1932. She was a retired CNA at Muhlenberg County Hospital and a member of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her sons, Danny Arndell and Jimmy Ray Arndell, Sr.; sisters, Lovely Andreson and Jewell Lee; and her parents. Survivors include her son, David Glenn Arndell of Central City; sisters, Bertha Hicks of Spring City, TN, Dean Jones of Greenville, Nancy Mallory of Greenville, Dianne Whitaker of Spring City, TN; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Leroy Rearden officiating. Burial will be in Cherry Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, July 31, 2017 at 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.

I knew Betty all my life, way back when she was married to Bobby on East Depot St. In Greenville. I worked with her att the hospital in the eighties also. I'm very sorry for her family. At one time, she was my mothers best friend.. (Zona Ward Witchelhouse). Tell Peaknuckle, Nancy, Dianne and Bertha that I'm so sorry. I'm praying for peace and comfort.
