SACRAMENTO – Barry Wayne Dossett, 52, of Sacramento, died Monday, November 19, 2018, at Baptist Health in Madisonville. Mr. Dossett was born April 1, 1966, in Calhoun. He was superintendent for the City of Sacramento Waterworks Dept., and attended Sacramento Baptist Church. He loved his family and community. He had a special relationship with his grandson, Easton. He enjoyed hunting with his son, Jason, and watching Kentucky basketball and Andy Griffith reruns. He also liked John Deere tractors and gardening. He was very proud of the new fire department in Sacramento. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Josie Dossett; and brother Kenny Dossett. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Dossett; children Jason Dossett of Northport, FL and Whitney (Derek) Browder of Brighton, TN; grandchild Easton Browder; brother Terry (Cindy) Dossett of Sacramento; sisters Sue Johnson of Bremen and Shirley Whitaker of Sacramento; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 24, 2018, at 2:00PM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento, with Bro. Wendell Wood officiating. Burial in West Union Schoolhouse Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Sacramento Fire Dept. in Loving Memory of Barry Dossett.
