Annie was one of the nicest people I have ever known. She was always kind, loving, and helpful to all that came in contact with her. Her mother in law and my mother were sisters, and I can still remember the aroma of those wonderful meals that Annie and Jessie would make. Their dining table always had room for one more. They had an orchard in the back yard and I can visualize the fruit trees.
Annie made the entire home come alive. She diligently took care of Lynn, Jackie, Becky and Mike plus was there to take care of Nick when he was ill, Jessie when she needed help and was a perfect wife to Raymond Earl. I never heard her say a bad word about anyone. She did not preach, scold or tell people how to live she showed by example. My life has been enriched by having Annie in it and for the fine example she has been. I know she is happy now and talking to Raymond, Birch, Jessie, Nick and the rest of the ones that are there to meet her. Thank you Lord for allowing her in my life.

Our families were neighbors for many years. Annie was always kind and treated me like one of her kids. There are so many wonderful memories as kids on Ryan Hill. Those steps on the back porch, the basement where she cooked for her family, her walking down the road almost daily because the doctor told her to, how she came into our house to comfort me when EMS transported mom to the hospital. I could go on and on. I am blessed to have known Annie.

I am so sorry for your loss. She was such s sweet lady and I am proud to call her my great aunt! I wish I could have gotten to know her better than I did but I am thankful that I had a chance to reconnect with her and her family before my dad, her nephew Ray Jenkins, passed away February, 2015. I wish I could have been able to be there but I want everyone to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!
