Anna Francis Noffsinger CENTRAL CITY — Anna Francis Noffsinger, 82, of Central City died Sunday, April 5, 2009, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. She was born May 1, 1926, in Muhlenberg County to the late Frank James McCoy and Sallie Eva Fentress McCoy. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Central City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Halbert Nodell Noffsinger, in 1990. Survivors include a son, Lloyd Noffsinger and wife Brenda of Las Vegas; three daughters, Martha Thomas of San Jose, Calif.; Brenda Gossett and husband Pete of Central City, and Laura Jones and husband Roger of Central City. Eight grandchildren Wayne Noffsinger, Celia Breazile, Jay Thomas, Jennifer Renfrow, J.P. Johnson, Christina Belt, Ashleigh Jones and Brittney Jones, and two step-grandchildren, Jon Gossett and Nikki Slobig. Eight great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren. A stepbrother Edgar Guynn and wife Beverly of Central City. Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Tucker Funeral Home, Central City with the Rev. Bob Lowery officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
