Anita Marie Maddox Plunk Published: Sunday, June 14, 2009 11:51 PM CDT CENTRAL CITY — Anita Marie Maddox Plunk, 63, of 15708 Kentucky 431 N., Central City, died at 3:15 a.m. Sunday, June 14, 2009, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born Oct. 14, 1945, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and member of Roland Memorial Baptist Church in Greenville. She was past president of VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Post 5478, in Greenville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Virginia Maddox. Survivors include her husband, Dannie Plunk; a son, Joseph Plunk of Central City; two daughters, Angela Saddler of Central City and Cheryl Brady of Bradenton, Fla.; a grandchild, Ashley Brady; two brothers, Ronnie (Peggy) Maddox of Central City and Steve (Debbie) Maddox of Greenville; and two sisters, June (Jim) Dunaway of Newburgh, Ind., and Mary (Don) Artus of Oak Lawn, Ill. Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. Dan Mooneyhan officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City.
