GREENVILLE – Amber Shea Hardison, 40, of Greenville, lost her long battle with diabetes, but has won the victory with Jesus, on Saturday, April 18, 2020. She was Mom to Jordyn Hardison Matthews of Greenville and Kayte Hardison Langley of Central City. She was a sister to Austyn Hardison of Bremen and the late William Travis, a sister-in-law to Brandi Stewart, and a step-sister to Crystal Midle of Evansville. She was Nonna to Shealyn Langley and Lunah Matthews. She was a mother-in-law to Terrence Langley. She was the granddaughter of Doris Jones of Bremen, the late Paul Payton, EC Jones, and William and Odean Hardison. She was a step-granddaughter to Janie Miller. She was aunt to Corey Hardison of Bremen, and Skylar Adler of Evansville. She also has several uncles, aunts, and cousins. She was a member of Neal’s Chapel General Baptist Church in Sacramento. My beautiful Amber, you were my first baby, my friend, buddy, (sometimes partner in crime) and hero. One of the reasons I lived my life for and the bravest and strongest woman I knew. You were a wonderful mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, granddaughter, niece, and cousin. You were a friend to all for you never met a stranger. With a heart of gold and a beautiful spirit you knew you were loved so by your family and friends, but yet God loved you more! We talked much about Him in the past few weeks and about going home . . . You were so tired and your body ached, but yet you trusted, put a smile on your face, and somehow kept going. You asked God for an apartment but He gave you a mansion, you asked Him for a kidney and He gave you a brand new body, you asked Him to just let you live to see your babies grow up, He did, then blessed you with two precious grandbabies. My life here will never be the same without you, but someday soon we will be together once again to spend eternity with God, our family, and friends. Heaven was your ultimate goal. You won’t have to “imagine” anymore about what it will be like, now you know. Be proud, you have earned your wings, so fly high, watch over your babies and please meet us at the gate. Until then you will be sadly missed. Loving you forever. Mama, Dad, John, Jordyn, Kayte, Austyn, Corey, Shealyn, Lunah, and family. In compliance with health and public safety directives, the funeral arrangements for Ms. Hardison will be private for immediate family only, with private burial.
