26th Annual Candlelight Service

Please join us for our 26th annual Candlelight Service on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at 3:00PM at First Baptist Church in Central City.  We are pleased that we are able to return in an in-person service this year and hope you will be able to join us.  

We Light A Candle Of Love

This candle represents our grief. The pain of losing a loved one is intense, but it reminds us of the depth of our love. This candle also represents our courage to confront our sorrow, to comfort each other, and to change and grow in our lives. This light is in your memory — the times we laughed, the times we cried, the times we were angry with each other, the silly things you did, and the care and joy you gave us. This light symbolizes love. As we enter this holiday season, day by day, we cherish the special place in our hearts reserved for you. We are thankful for the gift your life brought to us. For families who have lost a loved one, the holidays have a way of seeming dimmer. That’s why we are presenting our “ Holiday Memorial Service ” for bereaved families and friends.
